1. “Why Ibiza? ..Isn’t Ibiza better known for it’s clubbing than for healthy pursuits there?”
Unfortunately, Ibiza is possibly still better known for the antics of a minority for a couple of months in the summer, than for being a place of outstanding natural beauty to rival anywhere in Europe. However that’s usually only people who haven’t been here …or people who have, but spent the whole time in Space, The Blue Marlin, Bora Bora and the like..
This is a gross injustice to a truly beautiful island, because as soon as you get just a few minutes out of the towns, you are immersed in lush vibrant greens, deep red earth, amazing brilliant blue seas and skies, and white sandy beaches that seem to spring up around every corner. Everybody who sees it for the first time always says the same…
”I had no idea…”
Since the hippies colonised the island in the 60′s there has been always been a strong “Green” element here, culminating in the huge Greenheart movement of today. They are committed to promoting ecologically sound and sustainable “Eco-Tourism” to keep Ibiza as beautiful and prevent it being spoiled as so many other places have been with the relentless march of tourist developments. We try to live ecologically sound lives as far as possible. Our vehicle runs on Carbon-Neutral VegOil & we eat local organic produce as far as possible.
Ibiza now plays host to several other High-End (and super expensive) Health & Fitness Breaks, as well as Yoga Retreats and Wellness Centres these days and is moving away from it’s purely hedonistic past. With new luxury 5 Star Spa Hotels springing up around every corner Ibiza is moving upmarket fast, and The Balearic Council is committed to promoting Sports & Health Tourism.
..Besides, its difficult to imagine a nicer place to train outdoors in the fresh air and sunshine.
2. “Personal-Training wise, what can be achieved in just a few sessions?”
A surprisingly large amount of good. Depending on where you are currently, the first session gives a detailed picture of your Health & Fitness levels, an opportunity to assess posture,movement, covers core and functional basics and teaches you the “Functional Five” exercise set. We can also consider your nutrition, accurately calculate your requirements and expenditure, giving you the information you need, and some free software if you want it, to take away with you and be able to accurately manage your intake levels.
The second session builds on the first and takes you through the full workout program as it should be done, and will leave you feeling empowered and inspired to continue down the right path.
People vary, and use Personal Trainers in different ways, and a lot of people dont need a Personal Trainer long-term, more just as a kickstart down the road and maybe a little support in the early stages.
3. “I know what I’m doing, why do I need Personal Training?”
Maybe you don’t? However the nature of exercise means that the human body gets used to the demands made on it through regular exercise, and a fresh approach can often expose imbalances in the biokinetic chain. Functional Exercise does just this, and whatever level you are currently at, you will still improve your real-world core and lower body usable strength, power and proprioception or balance.
We can also in a matter of minutes calculate your own personal unique and exact Metabolic Requirements & Expenditure figures and show you the way to quickly & easily assess and modify your nutrition & behaviour to engineer your weight to where you want it to be, surely & steadily until you are at your target weight. If you play a sport we can tailor precise programs for you to enhance your performance in whatever way your sport demands.

4. “What can I expect from our sessions?”
Ibiza Personal Trainer’s exercise portfolio is drawn from many and diverse disciplines, including the Military, the Martial Arts, Yoga, Pilates, through to modern Hi (and Low) Tech Gymnasium and Coaching Techniques. From the basic principles of safe functional exercise we will work through full-body functional warm-ups, bodyweight and conditioning exercises through to challenging functional strength, balance / coordination based resistance work if desirable.

5. “A Personal Training Holiday? …What can I expect?”
If required we will book the accomodation of your choice, and meet you at the airport to transfer you there. We will then leave you to settle in and get comfortable. If you are arranging your own accommodation, your inbound transfer is not included, but can be arranged on request.
The next day we will commence your Training Program at your prearranged time. After your Session you are free for rest of the day to relax & enjoy the Spa & the Island in whatever way you choose.
We are based only a stone’s throw from your accomodation and will endeavour to help make your stay in Ibiza as pleasant and memorable as possible with our local knowledge & advice on the best restaurants, secluded and beautiful beaches, and places to go and see.
We will work with you every day therafter for your Sessions and make every effort to make sure that you experience as much of Ibiza’s unique atmosphere during your stay here as pleasant and memorable as possible, both during Training Sessions and in your own time.
We can also arrange swimming lessons, private yoga classes, massage & beauty therapy treatments with the island’s best teachers & therapists on request.

6. “Can I bring my partner or friend who won’t be training?”
7. “What happens after I get home again?”Of course you can! Just let us know who’s coming at the time of your booking. Your Sessions will only be a maximum of 2 hours out of your day so the rest of the time is yours to enjoy together.
The aim is for you to have done your first few workouts which are always the hardest, and be enjoying it enough to continue under your own steam. Further support is always just a phone call or email away.
